Abstract

After 3.11, the new social movement has been uproaring in Japan. After 3.11 Earthquake, March 11, 2011, there have been anti-nuclear movement which centered in Kōenji and activity of SEALDs which objects to revision of constitution and the scene of tens of thousands of crowds gathering in front of the prime minister's official residence. And this new social movement reminded us of anti-demonstration of The U.S.A-Japan Security Treaty in 1960 and Peace to Vietnam! Citizen's Association(so-called Beheiren) that arised in mid-1960. The reason that recent ‘demonstration’ easily comes across our minds the movement of 50 years ago is strongly related to the main group of these movements of ‘freely gathering’ ‘ordinary citizens’. For example, TV brocasting emphasized that the activity protesting re-operation of nuclear in the prime minister’s residence on June 29, 2012 was the demonstration of pure citizens that have no flags of organization. Also it appraised the movement the revival of civil demonstration after 52 years of security struggle in 1960. Beheiren which started in 1965 centered ‘citizens’ or ‘living people(Seikatsu-sya)’ and recent movements including SEALDs are highlighted on participating ‘Non aligned Citizens’. This text examines the process that Japan’s genealogy of civil movement centered the concept of ‘Seikatsu-sya’ and removed the ‘rebellious things’. As studying forms of kamagasaki chronology, this text suggests the concept of ‘living’ that doesn’t exclude rebellious things.
