연구 목적: 이글의 목적은 손광성의 수필 『하늘잠자리』에 나타난 환유적 구조와 주체의 향유를 고찰하는 것이다. 연구 방법: 손광성 수필에 나타난 환유적 상상력에 기반해, 언어기호의 의미화 작용으로서의 환유와 은유성의 원리를 적용했다. 연구 내용: 환유 구조에 기반한 상상력이 어떻게 수필 장르의 미학성과 주체의 향유에 기여하는지와 손광성 글쓰기의 특질을 알아본다. 결론 및 제언: 손광성 수필의 미학은 언어적 주체가 ‘물질과 관계를 맺는 방식’을 환유적 미학으로 전이시킨 데 있었다. 이때 ‘부재’는 ‘어머니의 사라짐’이라는 은유적 기호와 인접하면서, 바다, 죽음 등의 물질성과 인접함을 보여주었다. 손광성의 수필은 신변잡기로 일컬어지는 수필문학의 미학적 장르로서의 지향점이라 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to examine the metonymic structure and enjoyment of the subject in Shon Kwang-seong’s essay Dragonfly. Based on the metonymic imagination shown in Shon Kwang-seong’s essays, the principle of metonymy and metaphor as a signification of language signs was applied. We investigate how imagination based on metonymic structure contributes to the aesthetics of the essay genre and the enjoyment of the subject and the characteristics of Shon kwang-seong’s writing. The aesthetics of Shon Kwang-seong’s essays were based on the transfer of the linguistic subject’s ‘method of relationship with matter’ to metonymic aesthetics. At this time, ‘absence’ is adjacent to the metaphorical sign of ‘the disappearance of the mother’, showing that it is adjacent to materiality such as the sea and death. The essays of Shon Kwang-seong will be said to be the direction of essay literature as an aesthetic genre, which will be referred to as personal affairs in the future.
