중국의 ‘RCEP’ 협약국에 대한 ICT 제품 수출의 영향요인과 수출잠재력에 관한 연구 －중력 모델을 중심으로－

초록

본 논문은 중력 모형(gravity model)을 이용하여 중국의 RCEP 국가에 대한 ICT 제품 총수출 및 제품별 수출에 대한 영향요인을 분석하였다. 우선 중국 ICT 제품의 RCEP 국가에 대한 수출은 빠르게 성장했지만 상대적으로 편중되어 있다. 또한, 각 요인이 총수출 및 제품별 수출에 대해 미치는 영향은 다르게 나타났다. 수출상대국의 GDP와 무역의존도는 중국의 ICT 제품 수출에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 중국 GDP는 컴퓨터 및 주변기기 수출에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 혁신능력은 통신설비 수출에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 이동통신 인터넷 사용률은 통신설비 및 소비재 전자제품의 수출에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 고정광대역 사용률은 컴퓨터 및 주변기기, 소비재 전자제품의 수출에 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 반면에 중국과 수출상대국 수도 간의 물리적 거리는 대부분 ICT 제품 수출에 부(-)의 영향을 미친다. 그리고 수출상대국의 법률 효율은 소비재 전자제품 및 기타 수출에 부(-)의 영향을 미친다. 따라서 중국 ICT 제품의 RCEP 국가에 대한 수출시장을 다변화하고 국가별, 제품별로 차별화된 전략을 실시할 전망이다.

Abstract

This paper analyzed the influencing factors of China’s export of ICT products to RCEP countries by using the gravity model. First, exports of Chinese ICT products have grown rapidly to RCEP countries, but are relatively biased. Next, different influencing factors have different effects on total exports and on exports of ICT products category. Exporting countries’ GDP and trade dependence have a positive effect on China’s ICT product exports. China’s GDP has a positive effect on computer and peripheral exports, innovation has a positive effect on telecommunication equipment exports, and mobile Internet usage has a positive effect on consumer products. On the other hand, the physical distance between China and the capital of the exporting country has a negative effect on ICT product exports. In addition, the legal efficiency of the exporting country has a negative effect on exports of consumer electronics products and other goods.
