본 연구는 2011년부터 2020년까지 우리나라 특허청에 등록 및 공개된 특허를 대상으로 10여년 동안의 융합추세를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 총 1,358,485개의 특허 자료가 활용되었으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 최근 10여 년간 가장 많은 특허를 보유한 산업은 사무용 이외 일반기계 제조업으로 전체 특허의 7.61%를 차지하였고, 다음으로 반도체 제조업, 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 및 정보서비스업, 통신 및 방송장비 제조업 순이었다. 둘째, 연구 대상 기간 중 가장 활발히 연구개발이 이루어지고 있는 산업은 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 및 정보서비스업, 의료용 물질 및 의약품 제조업이었다. 마지막으로 과거 10여 년간 융합의 추세를 파악해 본 결과 전체산업에서의 융합도는 과거에 비하여 더욱 높아졌다. 구체적으로 가장 활발히 산업융합이 이루어지는 산업은 잉크/페인트 코팅제 및 유사제품 제조업, 그 외 기타 화학제품 제조업, 기초 화학물질 제조업, 선박 제조업, 화학섬유 제조업이었다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the convergence trend over a decade for patents at the Korean Intellectual Property Office from 2011 to 2020. A total of 1,358,485 patent data were used for analysis. The research results are as followsFirst, the industry with the largest number of patents over the past decade is the general machinery manufacturing industry other than office use, accounting for 7.61% of all patents. It was followed by semiconductor manufacturing, computer programming and information service, and communication and broadcasting equipment manufacturing. Second, the most active R&D industries during the research period were computer programming and information service industries, and medical materials and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Finally, as a result of grasping the trend of convergence over the past 10 years, the degree of convergence in the entire industry has been higher than in the past. Specifically, the most active industrial convergence industries were ink/paint coating agent and similar product manufacturing, other chemical product manufacturing, basic chemical manufacturing, ship manufacturing, and chemical fiber manufacturing.
