한국어 쓰기 수업에서의 구조화된 과정중심 쓰기 교육 방법 연구 -개인적 서사문 쓰기를 중심으로-

이 논문은 개인적 서사문 쓰기를 중심으로 구조화된 과정중심 쓰기 교육의 효과를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. Smagorinsky 외(2010, 2012)에서 제시한 구조화된 과정중심 교수법의 원리에 따라 수업 모형을 설계하고, 2015년도에 K 대학교의 외국인 유학생 40명을 대상으로 3주 동안 3시간씩 총 9시간 동안 실제적인 경험을 바탕으로 하는 개인적 서사문 쓰기 수업을 진행하였다. 수업 완료 후 3명의 평가자가 학습자들의 작문 자료를 분석해본 결과 학습자들은 개인적 서사문 쓰기라는 장르 특징적인 표현을 잘 이해하고, 내용이 풍부하고 사건을 구체적으로 작문하고 있었으며 이야기의 구조에 따라 글이 완결성을 갖도록 노력하고 있었다. 구조화된 과정중심 쓰기 교육을 받은 학습자들은 개인적 서사문 쓰기라는 장르의 특성을 잘 이해하고 이를 활용하여 적절한 개인적 서사문 쓰기를 한다고 볼 수 있었다.
Abstract
This paper aims to examine the effects of writing instruction based on the structured process approach for personal narrative writing. The instructional class model was designed according to the principle of a structured process approach presented by Smagorinsky et al. In 2015, 40 foreign students from K university participated in a personal narrative writing classes and the classes proceeded for a total of 9 hours, 3 hours per day over 3 weeks. After completion of the lesson, three evaluators analyzed the students' writing data. The result was that all learners understood the characteristic expressions for the genre of personal narrative writing, and they wrote the story concretely with rich content. Furthermore, they tried to make the writing in complete accordance with the structure of the story. In conclusion, the learner who received the writing education using the structured process approach could properly understand the characteristic of the genre for personal narratives and used it appropriately in personal narrative writing.
