문학교육학 연구 30년의 성찰과 과제 - 『문학교육학』 1호~89호 논문의 질적 코딩 기반 트렌드 및 관계망 분석 -

본 연구는 한국문학교육학회 창립 30주년을 맞아 『문학교육학』 제1호부터 제89호까지에 수록된 연구 논문 918편을 대상으로, 문학교육학 연구 트렌드와 지형을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 연구 대상 및 연구 주제에 관한 코드북을 구성하고, 논문별 질적 코딩을 수행한 뒤, 코드별 누적 빈도와 증감 경향, 엔트로피 지수에 따른 연구 관심의 다양성, 코드 간 동시 출현 관계망을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 『문학교육학』은 창간 이후 안정적인 발행 규모를 유지해 왔으며, 연구 관심은 초기의 제한된 분포에서 벗어나 비교적 이른 시기부터 다변화되었다. 또한 ‘작품론’, ‘교육 내용 체계화’, ‘이해/해석’ 등과 관련된 연구가 지속적으로 축적되는 한편, ‘인접 학문’, ‘시대 대응’, ‘디지털/기술/AI’, ‘문학치료’ 등과 관련된 새로운 관심이 확장되는 양상이 확인되었다. 동시 출현 관계망 분석에서는 ‘현대시’·‘실천’·‘창작’, 학교급별 학습자·‘교육과정’·‘교재’, ‘해석’·‘반응’·‘경험’, ‘작품론’·‘교육 내용 체계화’와 같은 군집이 반복적으로 결합되는 구조가 나타났다. 본 연구는 『문학교육학』에 축적된 연구 성과를 질적 코딩 기반의 트렌드 및 관계망 분석으로 가시화함으로써, 문학교육학의 지난 흐름을 성찰하고 향후 연구 과제를 모색하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공한다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the longitudinal development and relational structure of Korean literature education research by examining 918 articles published in Korean Literature Education Research from Issue 1 to Issue 89. Using a codebook for research subjects and themes, qualitative coding was conducted for each article, followed by analyses of cumulative frequency, yearly trends, entropy-based diversity, and code co-occurrence networks. The results show that the journal has maintained a stable publication volume and that its research interests diversified from an early stage. While areas such as work-based interpretation, systematization of educational content, and understanding/interpretation have been steadily accumulated, newer interests such as related disciplines, contemporary issues, digital technology/AI, and literary therapy have expanded. The co-occurrence network analysis reveals recurrent connections among literary genres, classroom practice, curriculum and textbooks, interpretation, response, experience, and educational content. This study visualizes the trajectory of Korean Literature Education Research and provides a basis for future research agendas.
