청나라 말기인 19세기 중엽, 사이준(莎彝尊)은 정음서(正音书)를 편찬하였다. 이 중 하나인 정음저화(正音咀华)는 학계에서 널리 알려져 있으며, 이 시기의 관화(官话) 연구에 있어 중요한 언어적 가치를 지니고 있어 특별한 자료로 평가받고 있다. 그러나 정음저화에 대한 연구를 진행하는 과정에서 기존 판본에 관한 포괄적인 연구가 부족하다는 점을 발견하였다. 본 논문에서는 그동안 수집한 정음저화의 모든 판본을 서로 비교하고, 이전 학자들의 연구 결과를 통합하여 검증 가능한 판본을 조사하였다. 우선, 간행처 정보를 기준으로 대부분의 정음저화 소장본을 주담헌(麈谈轩) 간행본과 한보루(翰宝楼) 간행본으로 분류하였다. 이후 이 두 종류의 간행본을 다시 세분화하였으며, 각 간행본 하위에 속하는 구체적인 판본을 대상으로 서지학적 연구를 진행하였다. 다음으로, 하나의 소장본에서 발견된 소장자의 교감기를 통해 일부 소장본이 려인본(铝印本)으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로, 나머지 정음저화 소장본은 각각 표지의 정보를 바탕으로 납인본(铅印本)과 석인본(石印本)으로 분류하였다. 이로써 본 논문에서는 총 16종의 정음저화 판본을 나열하고, 그들의 서지학적 개요를 일정 정도 설명하며, 관련 내용을 비교하여 후속 연구에 신뢰할 수 있는 근거를 마련하였다.
Abstract
In mid-19th century during the late Qing Dynasty, Yi‑zun Sa (莎彝尊) compiled books that correct the pronunciation of Chinese characters. Among these, ZhengYinJuHua (正音咀华) is widely known in academic circles. It holds significant linguistic value and is regarded as an essential resource for the study of Mandarin during this period. However, while conducting research on the ZhengYinJuHua, I discovered a notable lack of comprehensive studies on the existing editions. In this paper, I have gathered materials related to the editions of ZhengYinJuHua so far and examined the verifiable editions by integrating the research findings of previous scholars based on all available resources. First, I classified the majority of the collections of ZhengYinJuHua into ZhuTanXuan editions and HanBaoLou editions according to the publication information provided. These categories were then further subdivided, and specific editions within each category were studied. Next, through the collation notes of former owners found in a collection of ZhengYinJuHua, some were identified as aluminum print editions (铝印本). Finally, the remaining collections of ZhengYinJuHua were classified as lead print editions (铅印本) and stone print editions (石印本) based on the cover information. Subsequently, this paper provides a bibliographic overview of a total of 16 types of editions of ZhengYinJuHua and compares the relevant content to establish a reliable foundation for future research.
