Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide a data for predicting brain health and developing them through analysis which are difference BDNF between martial art athletes and normal group and correlation of health factor, cardiorespiratory, muscle function with BDNF. Subjects were participated by Yongmoodo, Judo, Wrestling athletes and Normal group each ten person. We tested maximal oxygen uptake using graded exercise test to investigate a correlation on BDNF, obesity, cardiorespiratory and muscle function. Also, subject were tested eccentric and concentric muscle using ISOMED 2000. Results as follow:First, there was no statistically significant difference on BDNF between martial art athletes and normal group. Second, there was statistically significant difference on cardiorespiratory between Yongmoodo and Judo as well Normal group. Third, there was statistically significant difference on muscle function(muscle power & endurance) between Yongmoodo and Wrestling as well Normal group. Fourth, there was statistically significant positive correlation on cardiorespiratory, %bodyfat, muscle power & endurance with blood BDNF. These results are meaning that BDNF creation is related with long term aerobic exercise. Further more, they need improvement of obesity, cardiorespiratory and muscle functions from regular aerobic exercise to develop brain health.
