해동강서시파의 탈태(奪胎)·환골(換骨) 수용 양상 - 이행(李荇), 박은(朴誾)의 시를 중심으로

해동강서시파(海東江西詩派)는 결사(結社)를 가진 실체가 아니라 황정견(黃庭堅)을 비롯한 중국 강서시파(江西詩派)의 영향을 받아 이와 유사한 시풍을 이어 온 시인들을 지칭하는 개념이다. 대표 시인인 박은(朴誾)과 이행(李荇)은 강서시파를 정통으로 배움과 동시에 자신의 개성을 발휘하여 또 다른 일가(一家)를 형성하게 되었다. 이는 강서시파의 주요 강령(綱領)인 탈태(奪胎)·환골(換骨)의 정신을 계승한 것으로 보인다. 따라서 해동강서시파의 강서시파 한시작법에 대한 수용 연구에서 탈태·환골 부분은 특히 주목할 만하다. 그러나 해동강서시파가 강서시파의 탈태·환골을 수용한 것에 관한 연구가 부족하다. 그 이유는 탈태·환골의 의미가 불명확했기 때문이다. 지금까지도 탈태·환골에 대한 통일된 해석이 없으나 시와 문장에서 옛사람의 뜻을 활용하되 새로운 의미를 유추하여 만들어낸다는 뜻으로 다소 광의적 개념으로 해석하고 있다. 이렇게 넓은 정의는 실제 작품에 적용하기가 어려우므로 본고는 기존의 해석 중에서 막려봉(莫礪鋒)이 제기한 실제 작품에 적용 가능한 구체적인 해설을 주목하였다. 그는 전인의 辭句를 차용하는 것, 전인의 詩意를 본뜨는 것, 전인의 構思 방식을 배우는 것이라는 세 가지 측면에서 탈태·환골이란 창작방법을 구체적으로 설명하였다. 우연치 않게 이들 세 가지 방식은 박은이나 이행 시에서도 많이 확인된다. 결론적으로 그들은 전인의 辭句, 詩意, 構思 방식을 수용하면서 독자적인 시풍을 이룬다.
Abstract
The Haedong Gangseo Poetry School was a conceptual term used to refer to the poets influenced by the Gangseo Poetry School (represented by figures like Huang Tingjian). Representative poets such as Bak-Eun and Lee-Haeng, inherited the core principles of the Gangseo School, “duotai” and “huangu”. However, there have been an insufficient number of studies on how the Haedong Gangseo School assimilated these principles. To address this, this paper focuses on the concrete interpretive framework proposed by Mo Lifeng, who operationalized “duotai” and “huangu” into three specific creative methods:Borrowing phrases from the predecessors’ works; Emulating the poetic essence of earlier compositions; Learning from the conceptual approaches of past masters. Notably, these three methods are extensively observable in the poems by Bak-Eun and Lee- Haeng. By adopting the predecessors’ phrases, poetic themes, and conceptual frameworks, they reinterpreted classical traditions to forge their unique poetic styles.
