본 연구의 목적은 수학과 관련된 여러 가지 이론을 적용하여 현악기의 하모닉스와 배음렬의 관계를 증명하는 것이다. 그리고 하모닉스로 연주하는 바이올린 곡에 대응하여 표기법을 표준화하는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해 연주자들이 좀 더 다양하고 확실한 방법으로 하모닉스를 연주할 수 있도록 하여 현악기 연주의 발전에 기여하고자 한다. 이를 위해 근음을 기준으로 16배음까지 조사하여바이올린·비올라·첼로에서 손가락 짚는 위치를 표로 정리하였고, 실제 악기 연주에 적용 가능한 6배음까지는 보다 자세하게 설명하였다. 하모닉스 연주법에는 자연적 하모닉스와 인위적 하모닉스가 있다. 본 연구에서는 자연적 하모닉스의 원리를 규명하고 새로운 표기법을 제시하였다. 인위적 하모닉스의 원리에 대해서는 향후 연구를 통해 증명할 계획이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to prove the relationship between the string harmonics and the harmonic series by applying various math theories. This paper also suggests ways to standardize single notation in response to violin music played with harmonics. We hope that this thesis will contribute to the development of string instruments by allowing performers to play harmonics in more diverse and precise ways. Building on key notes, the thesis investigates 16 harmonics and organizes harmonics positions on the fingerboards of the violin, the viola and the cello into the chart. There is a particular focus on 1-6 harmonics, which can be applied to performances. Harmonics techniques are divided into natural harmonics and artificial harmonics. This thesis focuses on the principles and notation for natural harmonics. Artificial harmonics principles and notation will be investigated and presented in a future thesis.
