북한어 인용문의 화시소 전이 양상

북한어는 ‘-다고, -가고, -라고, -자고’ 등의 ‘-X고’ 어미 형식의 인용문에서 “아버지는 [이곳이 네가 무술을 닦을 터라고] 하시면서…”처럼 인용화자의 시점에서 인칭, 시간, 공간 등 화시소가 전이되지 않는 예가 다수 나타난다. 이는 반직접인용 등의 명칭으로 남한어의 경우 구술발화에서 생산적으로 나타남이 관찰되었으나, 북한어의 경우 문어에서도 활발히 쓰이는 특징이 있다. 본고가 대상으로 삼은 세 자료에서 화시소가 개재된 예문의 경우 부분적 전이를 보이는 경우가 전형적인 간접인용문에 비하여 4배에 이르는 분포를 보인다. 그리고 그 양상에 있어서 인칭 대명사는 시간, 공간 등 다른 화시소에 우선하여 전이되며, 그 반대의 경우는 없다. 이와 같이 인칭 대명사가 비대칭적으로 전이된 예문에서, ‘자기, 자신’ 등 전이된 인칭 화시소는 원발화의 ‘나’ 등과 동질적 기능을 가져 간접인용문의 ‘자기, 자신’과 차이점을 보인다. 이는 인용화자가 원발화의 시공간으로 시점을 이동한 결과이며, 따라서 북한어의 반직접인용문의 ‘-고’는 북한 학계에서 관찰한 대로 직접인용에 가까운 기능을 보여준다.
Abstract
In North Korean language, there are many examples that the deixis of person, time, space is not shifted in the reported speeches of the form of '-Xko' endings, i.e., '-tako(-다고), -kako(-가고), -lako(-라고), -cako(-자고)', like the sentence "아버지는 [이곳이 네가 무술을 닦을 터라고] 하시면서…". This phenomenon has been called as semi-direct speech, and been observed that it is used in spoken language usally, but it is also actively used in written language of the North Korean language. In the case of data of this study, the examples of partial shifts of deixis is four times larger than those in the typical indirect speech. And the personal pronouns take precedence over the other deitic words, such as time and space, and there is no reverse. In the examples where the personal pronouns are shifted asymmetrically, the deitic words 'caki, casin(oneself)' have homogeneous functions with 'na(I)' of the original reported speech, showing a difference from the personal pronoun 'caki, casin' of the indirect speech. This is the result of the shifting of the reporting speaker's perspective to the time and space of the original speaker's. Therefore, the ending '-ko' in the semi-direct speech of the North Korean language shows the functions that are close to direct speech, as observed by North Korean scholars.
