Abstract
This paper, between public information and intric value, analyzes the speed of adjustment coefficients by Theobald and Yallup(2004) in the stock markets of Korea, United States, Japan, Hong Kong. The primary findings are summarized as follows :Using the ARMA model, there are significant value of the speed of adjustment coefficients in the four country. Especially, in the bull market, there is high adjustment coefficients, but, in the bear market, there is low adjustment coefficients. It means ‘disposition effect’ in behavioral finance. In the bull market, investors tend to overreact, but, investors underreat in the bear market. Investors’ reaction is sensitive to the size. Big firm’s adjustment coefficients is larger than small firm’s. It shows that big firm overreact to information, but small firm underreact to information. So, it can be applied that the investment big firm in the bull market is efficient strategy.
