초록

‘변혁적 역량(transformative competency)’교육은 지구촌의 환경적, 사회적, 경제적 변화를 반영하고 있으며, ‘개인과 사회의 행복’을 목적으로 한다. 이에 따라 윤리적 가치를 중요시하며 학습자의 주체성과 결과보다는 과정을 중요시한다. 이는기존의 역량교육과 달리 ‘인본주의’적인 관점과 ‘구성주의’적인 교육관이 반영된 것으로 해석될 수 있겠다. 이에 본고에서는 변혁적 역량교육의 교육방안으로 ‘미적경험기반 교육’을 살펴보고자 한다. 미적경험기반 교육은 예술 활동, 그 자체가 주는 도덕적 경험을 체험할 수 있게 하며, 인지적으로는 구성주의적 교육환경을 제공하여 학습자가 주체가 되어 예술작품 속에 녹아져 있는 사회문화적 배경을 해석하고 정서를 공감하며 나아가 창의적 활동까지 가능하게 한다. 이러한 미적경험 활동은 변혁적 역량이 추구하는 맥락과 맞닿아 있다고 할 수 있겠다.

Abstract

'Transformative competency’ education reflects environmental, social, and economic changes in the global village and aims at ‘happiness of individuals and society.’ Accordingly, ethical values are important and the process is more important than the learner's identity and results. Unlike existing competency education, this can be interpreted as reflecting a ‘humanistic’ perspective and a ‘constructivist’ view of education. Accordingly, in this paper, we will examine ‘aesthetic experience-based education’ as an educational method for transformative competency education. Aesthetic experience-based education allows students to experience the moral experience that art activity itself provides, and provides a cognitively constructivist educational environment in which learners become subjects, interpret the social and cultural background contained in works of art, and develop emotional and emotional knowledge. It empathizes and even enables creative activities.
