Abstract
Moore (1956) noted the Naturalistic fallacy resulting from the impossibility of deriving ought-statements from is-statements. This was done to underscore the inaccuracy of the assertion made by naturalistic epistemologists that the human mind exclusively manifests itself through the synthesis of factual propositions. This claim is in direct opposition to the human mind’s capacity for ethical understanding. Naturalistic fallacy can be explained using the same structure as Gödel’s ‘Incompleteness Theorem’ and Alan Turing’s ‘Halting Problem’ revealing the incompleteness of physicalism. The naturalistic fallacy can be articulated through the same structure as Gödel’s ‘Incompleteness Theorem’ and Alan Turing’s ‘Halting Problem’. By being rephrased in this way, the naturalistic fallacy exposes the incompleteness of physicalism. Concurrently, this demonstrates unequivocally that the genesis of artificial consciousness analogous to the human mind (artificial intelligence singularity) from any purely mechanical and physical system is implausible. This refutes atheism, which in any form implies physicalism.
