This study proposes an in-line system to improve productivity and quality in multi-cavity blow molding. The system precisely controls the temperature of preforms immediately after injection molding. It consists of a picking module and an Adaptive Temperature Control System(ATCS). the system enables continuous transfer and cooling of high-temperature preforms, maximizing process efficiency. The cooling performance of ATCS was evaluated through CAE based analysis. Transient heat transfer analysis compared the thermal effectiveness of contact and non-contact cooling methods. Injection molding analysis predicted the temperature distribution and shrinkage of preforms, providing insights for selecting the optimal cooling method. Conjugate heat transfer(CHT) analysis was conducted to simulate heat transfer behavior inside ATCS under various airflow conditions. The reulsts were compared with actual temperature measurement from molded preforms. The analysis confirmed the validity of the simulation by matching trends and hot zone locations. Among the analyzed condition, airflow velocity had the greatest effect on cooling. High-speed air at 100 m/s reduced the maximum preform temperature to approximately 41℃. These results demonstrate the feasibility of CAE-based design and provide a foundation for future optimization of cooling structures and closed-loop control systems in blow molding processes.
