초록

This study investigates the significance of multi-stage drawing processes using progressive dies and analyzes the impact of work hardening during sheet metal plastic deformation on forming quality and production efficiency. The target of the study is a reciprocating compressor component widely used in water purifiers and refrigerators, focusing on its multi-stage drawing process. Progressive dies were designed and manufactured using PO-SHP-1 material, and particular attention was paid to the thickness variation between the inner and outer walls during double drawing and the corresponding changes in hardness due to work hardening. The experimental results confirmed that as the material thickness increased and the drawing shape and diameter decreased, material inflow became more restricted. In a previous study, simulations employing various punch and die diameters and shapes were used to determine optimal forming conditions, based on which the dies were fabricated for this study. These findings provide fundamental data that can be utilized to improve and optimize multi-stage drawing processes, and are expected to contribute to enhanced productivity
