초록
This study presents a simulation-based design approach for developing a maskless edge coating nozzle suitable for electrode patterning on glass substrates using mechanical dispensing. Unlike inkjet or aerosol jet printing, the proposed method relies on a direct-contact asymmetric nozzle to deposit low-viscosity conductive ink along the boundary edge of the glass substrate without the need for photolithographic masks. Using Autodesk Moldflow, we analyzed the influence of nozzle slope angle, outlet geometry, and substrate edge curvature on the uniformity and continuity of the ink flow. The results demonstrate that a nozzle slope angle of 5° and a 0.1 mm edge chamfer minimize flow disturbances, enabling stable film formation across the glass edge. This work provides practical design guidelines for nozzle development in sustainable electronics manufacturing where precision and process simplicity are critical.
