본 연구는 B대학교 2021학년도 신입생들의 대학생활적응과 중도탈락예방을 위한 다양한 영향요인을 탐색하기 위하여 실시하였다. 전체 1학년을 대상으로 대학적응력검사(CAT)를 실시하여 최종 1,025명을 최종 연구대상으로 하였다. 대학적응력 변인과 대학만족도, 대학적응력 변인과 중도탈락 경향성 간의 관계를 분석하기 위하여 다중회귀분석 방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과 대학만족도를 높이는 요인으로는 학문적 통합성, 사회적 통합성, 진로정체성, 교수와의 관계, 가정의 정서적지지, 학업지속 안정성이 유의미한 요인으로 분석되었다. 신입생의 중도탈락위험 여부에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 변인 중 교수와의 관계를 제외한 나머지 변인인 학문적 통합성, 정서적 안정성, 대학교육 만족도, 학업지속 안정성이 높을수록 중도탈락 경향성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 사회적 통합성, 진로정체성, 교육서비스 만족도 등은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 논의 및 대학만족도를 높이기 위한 대학 차원의 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to explore various influencing factors for adaptation to college life and drop-out prevention of new students in the 2021 academic year of B University. College student Adaptability Test(CAT) was conducted for all first-year students, and the final 1,025 subjects were the final research subjects. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between college adaptability variables and college satisfaction, college adaptability variables and dropout tendency. As a result of the study, academic cohesion, social cohesion, career identity, relationship with professors, emotional support at home, and stability in academic continuity were analyzed as significant factors that increase college satisfaction. Factors affecting the risk of dropping out of freshmen were analyzed. As a result, it was found that the higher the academic integrity, emotional stability, satisfaction with college education, and stability of academic continuity, the other variables except the relationship with the professor, the lower the tendency to dropout. On the other hand, social cohesion, career identity, and educational service satisfaction did not have a significant effect. Based on these results, a university-level plan was proposed to increase the discussion and university satisfaction.
