대학생 의사소통능력 함양을 위한 ‘녹화 동영상 강의’의 운영 사례 분석 및 모형 탐색

이 연구는 대학생의 의사소통능력 함양을 목표로 한 ‘녹화 동영상 강의’의 운영 사례를 분석하고, 교양 과목으로 활용할 수 있는 모형을 탐색한 것이다. 100% 녹화 동영상 강의인 점을 고려하여 기획 및 운영 과정에서 다음 두 가지 점에 초점을 두었다. 첫째는 녹화 동영상 강의의 기술적 품질을 확보하였다. 둘째는 학습자들이 의사소통을 둘러싼 다양한 문제와 원리를 이해하고, 자신의의사소통에 대해 점검ㆍ성찰함으로써 대인간 의사소통능력에 대한 효능감으로이어질 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 목표를 달성하기 위해 학생들이 <동영상 강의> 수강한 후에 학습 내용에 대한 이해 정도를 점검하기 위해 <퀴즈>를 해결하도록 하였고, 학습 내용에 대한 성찰 및 체화를 위해 <실습 과제>를 수행하도록 구성하였다. 서울소재 대학에서 4학기를 운영한 결과, 교과목에서 설정한 ‘대인관계능력’ 과 ‘자기관리능력’에서 높은 성취도를 보였다. 또한 수강 후에 실시한 학생들의자기 평가와 강좌 평가에서 고루 높은 만족도를 보였다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the operation of ‘recorded video lectures’ aimed at improving the communication skills of university students and explored a model that can be used as a liberal arts course. Considering that it is a 100% recorded video lecture, we focused on the following two points during the planning and operation process. First, we secured the technical quality of the recorded video lectures. Second, learners understand various issues and principles surrounding communication, and examine and reflect on their own communication, leading to a sense of efficacy in interpersonal communication skills. To achieve these goals, students were asked to solve a quiz to check their understanding of the learning content after watching the video lectures, and to perform a practical task to reflect on and internalize the learning content. As a result of running the course for four semesters at a university in Seoul, students showed high achievement in the ‘interpersonal skills’ and ‘self-management skills’ set by the course, and showed high satisfaction in the self-evaluation and course evaluation conducted after the course.
