랩을 활용한 글쓰기 수업 방안 연구: 2022 개정 중학교 국어과 교육과정 문학 영역 성취기준을 중심으로

이 논문은 랩을 활용한 새로운 글쓰기 수업의 가능성을 탐색해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 다양한 미디어에서 여러 랩 오디션 프로그램이 방영되고 있으며 청소년들은 여기에 열광하고 있다. 이에 청소년들의 선호도가 높은 미디어 영상 속 랩을 활용한 국어 수업 방안을 구안해 봄으로써 청소년의 학습 동기 를 활성화하고 적극적인 참여를 구인하고자 한다. 본고에서는 랩 <당신의 밤>, <좋은 날>을 활용하여 2022 개정 교육과정 중학교 국어과 문학 영역 성취 기 준을 구현한 현대 시 감상 글쓰기 수업 방안을 제안한다. 학생 필자는 글쓰기 의 가치와 필요성은 높게 인식하면서도 글쓰기를 어려워하고 좋아하지 않는다. 특히 학생들은 글쓰기 과정 중 내용 생성의 어려움과 글쓰기에 대한 부정적인 인식으로 인한 어려움을 겪는 비중이 높으며 그 외 인지적, 정의적, 필자 외적 다양한 요인으로 인해 쓰기 막힘 경험을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 글쓰기 의 난점은 랩 가사 쓰기를 활용한 글쓰기 수업을 통해 극복할 수 있는데, 본고에서는 랩 가사 쓰기를 활용한 비평글, 성찰글, 정서표현글 쓰기 수업 방안을 구안해 보았다. 랩 가사 쓰기를 활용하면 쓰기 동기를 유발하고 경쟁 분위기 속에서 창작에 자극을 받아 학생들이 글쓰기에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있을 것 이다. 그리고 나아가 글쓰기 어려움을 극복하고 성공적인 쓰기 경험을 제공받 을 수 있을 것이다. 본고는 랩 가사의 활용이 현대 시 운율 학습에 치우쳐 있 다는 문제의식에서 출발하여, 랩 가사에 주목해서 비평글, 성찰글, 정서표현글 쓰기 수업을 구안했다는 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This paper aims to explore the potential of a new writing class using rap lyrics. Various rap audition programs are being broadcast on multiple media platforms, and teenagers are enthusiastic about them. Therefore, we aim to activate learning motivation among adolescents and encourage their active participation by devising Korean language class plans that utilize rap from media videos that are popular among adolescents. In this paper, this study proposes modern poetry reading and writing class lesson plans that incorporate achievement standards for the literature domain in the 2022 revised middle school Korean language curriculum through the use of the rap song Your Night, Good Day. Student writers are highly aware of the value and necessity of writing, but they often find it challenging and do not enjoy the process. In particular, students often encounter difficulties in the writing process due to the challenges of content creation and negative perceptions of writing, and they also experience writing block resulting from various internal (cognitive, affective) factors and external factors of student writers. These challenges in writing can be overcome through writing classes using rap lyrics. This paper proposes using rap lyrics in writing classes methods to facilitate critical writing, reflective writing, and writing emotional expression. Using rap lyrics can motivate students to write and stimulate their creativity in a competitive atmosphere, encouraging them to participate highly in writing. Furthermore, it will help them overcome their writing difficulties and provide them with successful writing experiences. This paper originated from the awareness that the use of rap lyrics is biased toward learning modern poetry rhythm. It is significant that the classes are designed to focus on rap lyrics and include critical writing, reflective writing, and writing emotional expression.
