Abstract
Islam and Hinduism are too different religions to live together side by side in many aspects. Islam follow Koran and worship Allah and strengthen their brotherhood through regular congregation. On the contrary, there are countless Gods in Hinduism but no strong central points and authorized bible. When Akbar has ascend the throne, he had to confronted many difficult situations. Politically, there were many Uzbeks, Turky and Afghans who have been there from Babur times. Whenever there are opportunities, they used to take Akbar over. Akbar's position was very weak and unstable. So he appointed many P weaan, Hindus to high ranks for balancing power within his court. Or more importantly, to stand on them. Religionally, the numbers of Islam were, though they were the ruling class, very small but Hindus were, though they were the ruled, many. Akbar imported many Hindu cultures to his court. Architecture was not also expceptional. This paper show what kinds of elements are mixed or what kinds of Hindu architectural sources are permeated into Islamic architecture, especially Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra.
