Abstract

This articles is purpose that discuss on process and method about healing of mind on yoga of meditation in Bhagavasgītā. Bhagavasgītā is a literature about yoga of meditation which get eternal life and keep calm of mind through healing of mind. A such a peace of inner mind is a result of meditation. A process of yogic meditation get a calm and peace of mind into which enter meditation(dhyāna, 瞑想) through concentration(dhāraṇā, 凝念), by which attain samādhi(三昧). Mind(citta) varies always as internal and external situations. Mind flows both ways, toward evil and toward good. The upward tendency of mind is released and strengthened through detachment and practice. The divided mind is unified through practice of meditation made to flow toward the good. However, when we begin to yoga of meditation, we have to make internal and external conditions which made to flow toward the good. Firstly, there are a stage of an ethical, physical, and external conditions, a internal conditions as preparatory stage of psychological and mental practice, and a stage of mental practice. ethical condition is a brahamacarya. Physical conditions are an appropriate position, seat, foods, sleep and seasons. A internal conditions are two, a control of breath(prāṇayāma) and a withdrawal of sense(pratyāhara). Secondly, a yoga meditative practice is mental practice. This is to be called saṁyama. Saṁyama are three, dhāraṇā dhyāna and samādhi. We will investigate how to practise this saṁyama, what are stages of practice. Third, we investigate what is the result of yoga meditative practice. The balanced mind is a situation which an unbalanced mind is to be become normal mentality through yoga meditative practice. At that time, the mind has been healed, and then maintains a condition of the peace and calm. Also owing to an unavoidable circumstances, when we can not perfect the yoga meditative practice, is it an effects or not? It is to be said that is effects in Bhagavasgītā. Yoga of Meditation is not mere self-restraint, nor a cold-hearted philosophy and an unknowing behaviorism in Bhagavasgītā. It transcends the self-restraint, philosophy and blind act. It is a method in which have been stayed our own self in the true sense. Therefore A greatest yoga meditater is who concentrate on our own self and return back our own origin in the true sense.
