무용공연자신감척도, DPCS(Dance Performance Confidence Scale)는 스포츠 선수들의 자신감을 측정하기 위해 개발된 SSCQ(Sports-confidence)의 수정/변형된 형태의 검사도구이다. 스포츠선수들의 자신감을 측정하기 위해 개발되었음에도 불구하고, 국내에서는 무용/공연 수행과 관련되어 활용되고 있으며, 실제로 무용수들의 자신감 정도를 측정하는 도구인가에 대한 비판은 검증되지 않고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 Rasch 모형을 적용하여 수정/번안하여 활용되고 있는 무용자신감척도의 타당도를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이 목적을 위해 Messick(1995)이 분류하여 제시한 타당도의 틀 속에서 검사내용에 기초한 타당도, 실제에 기초한 타당도, 그리고 내적 구조에 기초한 타당도를 검증하였다. 그 결과, 검사내용에 기초한 타당도는 문항 5과 문항 9의 적합도와 점이연 측정상관계수는 부적합하게 나타났다. 점이연 측정상관계수는 특정문항의 점수와 피험자 총점 측정치간의 상관을 측정하는 지수로 DPCS의 두 문항이 점이연 측정치수로 단일차원성의 가정을 위배는 것으로 나타났다. 실제에 기초한 타당도 검증 결과에서는 피험자 적합도 분석 결과 0.9에서 1.2의 범위를 나타내며 기준치인 1.5를 벗어나지 않은 것으로 양호하게 나타났다. 내적구조에 기초한 타당도 검증 결과에서는 Facets 프로그램이 제시해 주는 표준잔차를 이용한 주성분 분석 분산도표는 단일차원을 가정하는 Rasch 모형에 의해 설명되는 분산(35.3%)이 설명되지 못하는 분산(64.7%)에 크게 못미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 DPCS는 무용수의 공연 자신감을 측정하기위한 대표성에 문제가 있음을 시사해 준다.
Abstract
Dance Performance Confidence Scale(DPCS) is a testing tool that has been modified from SSCQ(Sports-confidence) developed in order to measure the confidence level of sports athletes. Although this was developed to measure the confidence of sports athletes, it is used in Korea in relation to dance/performance practice. The criticism on its effectiveness on actual dancers in measuring their confidence has not been verified yet. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to verify the validity of DPCS, which is modified using Rasch’s model. For this purpose, validity based on the test content, practice, and inner structure were verified within the frame of validity suggested by Messick(1995). As a result, the validity based on test content had incongruent point-biserial correlation coefficients and goodness of fit for items 5 and 9. Point-biserial correlation coefficient is the measurement of correlation between the points for a certain item and the total points, and two items of DPCS came out to be against the hypothesis of one-dimension according to its point-biserial size. The result of test of validity based on practice had the range of 0.9 to 1.2, which is within the standard value of 1.5. For the validity test based on inner structure, the dispersion graph on principal component analysis, which used standard deviation provided by the Facets program, came out to have dispersion(35.3%) that can be explained by Rasch’s model, with one-dimension hypothesis, less than dispersion that cannot be explained(64.7%). In conclusion, there is a problem of DPCS being a representative test for measuring a dancer’s performance confidence.
