기계번역에서의 ‘被’자문 처리 기제

Abstract

Study on "BEI"construction in Machine Translation Park, Jae-seung The study of the machine translation has received relatively little attention from korean scholarship in general, what was worse, that is much neglected branch of chinese linguistics in korea.That is to say, throughout these studies runs a common theme:the algorithm of machine translation system must be based on Chom's rewriting rules. However, it cannot ba satisfactorily explicated by syntax analysis. Because the sentence is not generated from the combinations between the syntactic categories. The structure of sentence is strong association with co-occurrence restrictions. Therefore, we need more concrete and delicate the co-occurrence restrictions such as collocational restrictions.For machine translation, syntactic analysis technique of sentence should be researched for its own purpose. My approach in this paper is based on collocation restrictions and semantic information. Because Chinese writing does not have a spacing between words and it causes variety function of word. The author introduces some syntactic and semantic rules of "BEI"construction, in order to demonstrate the effective of such rules, the author has a discussion on how to analyse some ambiguous examples related to "BEI"construction by using the rules.This study is only a first step, we believe it offers some insight into the problems. There are, however, a number of problems that remain to be explored.
