비대면 시대의 관계맺기: 대학생들을 통해 본 청년들의 인간관계 변화와 공감교육을 위한 질적 탐색

초록

본 연구에서는 먼저 대학생들이 지금의 변화된 사회에서 인간관계와 공감을 어떻게 경험하고 있는지 구체적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 그리고 이러한 비대면 시대에 대학생들이 구축해야 할 인간관계의 대안을 탐색하고, 연구 결과의 의미와 필요성을 공감교육으로 실현하는 것에 대해 논의해 보고자한다. 본 연구에 분석된 자료들은 연구자가 대학생들을 직접 만나 수집하고 진행했던 면담자료들이다. CQR(Consensual Qualitative Research)을 적용한 자료 분석 결과 총 3개의 영역과 9개의 범주, 29개의 하위범주들이 나타났다. 도출된 영역 3가지는 첫째, 비대면 시대의 인간관계 특징 둘째, 인간관계 거리두기의 역설 셋째, 인간관계 대안 찾기 등으로 나타났다. 첫 번째 영역인 비대면 시대의 인간관계 특징에서는 3개의 범주와 9개의 하위 범주가 분석되었다. 두 번째 영역인 인간관계 거리두기의 역설에서는 3개의 범주와 10개의 하위 범주가 제시되었다. 세 번째 영역인 인간관계 대안 찾기에서는 3개의 범주와 10개의 하위 범주가 도출되었다. 분석된 결과에 근거하면 대학생들은 비대면 시기동안의 자기성찰을 바탕으로 인간관계에 대한 새로운 변화와 전략을 고려하고 있었다. 또한 디지털 기술을 매개로 다양한 소통과 감정공유를 시도하였고 이는 공감 교육의 방향을 설정하는데 중요한 시사점을 제공하였다.

Abstract

This study first examines in detail how university students experience human relations and empathy in the current changed society. Then, it explores alternatives to human relations that university students should build in this non-face-to-face era and discuss ways to put the meaning and necessity of research results into practice through empathy education. The data analyzed in this study are interview data that were collected from the interviews that the researcher conducted with university students in person. As a result of data analysis applying CQR(Consensual Qualitative Research), a total of 3 areas, 9 categories, and 29 subcategories were identified. The three areas are as follows: first, the characteristics of human relations in the non-face-to-face era; second, the paradox of distancing human relations, and third, finding alternatives to human relations. In the first area, the characteristics of human relations in the non-face-to-face era, 3 categories and 9 subcategories were analyzed. In the second area, the paradox of distancing human relations, 3 categories and 10 subcategories were presented. In the third area, finding alternatives to human relations, 3 categories and 10 subcategories were derived. The analyzed results showed that university students were considering new changes and strategies for human relations based on introspection during non-face-to-face periods. In addition, they attempted various communication and emotional sharing through digital technology, which provided important implications for setting the direction of empathy education.
