Abstract
The modern city has potentially strong and invisible power to sustain and promote it. This is the spirit of the modern city. Under the civilized system that is open and collisive, the values of the city spirit is made and settled in combining with the ecological environment in societies. Therefore, the values of the city spirit is rationally constructed by the city spirit and the social ecology. This means that it is to construct the cultural ecology of the city spirit. In my paper, I would like to research how to construct the reality and the rationality of the modern city in the point of view of the civilized ecology of the city spirit.
