지각된 어머니와의 애착과 아동 공격성의 관계 : 정서 변인의 매개효과를 중심으로

초록

본 연구는 지각된 어머니와의 애착과 아동 공격성의 관계에서 정서인식의 명확성, 부정적 정서표현 및 역기능적 정서조절로 설정된 정서 변인의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 5, 6학년 436명을 대상으로 어머니와의 애착, 정서인식의 명확성, 부정적 정서표현, 역기능적 정서조절, 공격성에 관한 자기보고 질문지를 실시하였다. 선행연구에 기초하여 정서인식의 명확성과 부정적 정서표현이 역기능적 정서조절을 거쳐 어머니와의 애착과 공격성 사이를 매개하는 것으로 가정된 연구모형을 상정하였고, 이 연구모형을 정서 변인들이 어머니와의 애착과 공격성 사이를 병렬적으로 매개하는 것으로 가정된 대안모형과 구조방정식을 이용하여 비교하였다. 그 결과, 지각된 어머니와의 애착이 아동 공격성에 미치는 영향에 있어 정서 변인 중 정서인식의 명확성과 역기능적 정서조절의 매개효과가 확인되었고, 정서인식의 명확성과 역기능적 정서조절이 어머니와의 애착과 아동 공격성의 관계를 순차적으로 매개 함이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 앞으로의 연구방향에 대해 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study investigated whether emotional variables mediated the relationship between perceived mother attachment and children's aggression. Emotional variables consisted of emotional clarity, negative emotional expressiveness, and dysfunctional emotion regulation. Three models were developed to investigate these mediating effects. In theoretical models, dysfunctional emotion regulation was assumed to have a mediating effect between emotional clarity and negative emotional expressiveness, and aggression. On the other hand, in an alternative model, all mediating variables were assumed to have mediating effects at the same level. Structural equation modeling(SEM) with AMOS was used for the purposes of analysis. The SEM revealed that a dual mediation model fits the data well. These findings indicated that emotional clarity and dysfunctional emotion regulation sequentially mediated the relationship between perceived mother attachment and aggression. In addition, it was evealed that dysfunctional emotion regulation played the role of the main mediator between perceived mother attachment and aggression.
