Cette recherche examine la relation qu’établissent la démocratisation politique, le développement économique et la transparence nationale dans la CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries = Communauté des pays de langue portugaise). Elle vérifie l’hypothèse selon laquelle la transparence nationale est liée avec la démocratisation politique, le développement économique et le contexte socioculturel dans la CPLP. Les pays de la CPLP qui sont politiquement plus démocratisés et économiquement plus développés montrent plus grande transparence nationale. La relation qu’établissent l’anticorruption, la démocratisation et la richesse économique est bien verifiée dans le groupe des pays qui ont relativement plus haut niveau de revenue national brut et de démocratisation politique. Cette recherche conclut que le niveau de revenue national brut et celui de liberté politique sont liés avec la transparence nationale dans la CPLP. Les pays de la CPLP ont besoin d’améliorer leur transparence pour la démocratisation politique et le développement économique dans un proche avenir.
Abstract
This study examines the associations among political democratization, economic development, and national transparency in CPLP(Community of Portuguese Language Countries). It verifies the hypotheses that national transparency is related to political democratization, economic development, and socio-cultural backgrounds in CPLP. And CPLP countries with higher democratization and economic development have higher transparency. The associations among anti-corruption, democratization, and economic development are well verified in the groups of nations with the higher levels of GNI per capita and political democratization. It concludes that the levels of GNI per capita and freedom ratings are related to national transparency in CPLP. CPLP countries need to improve their transparency for political democratization and economic development in near future.
