Abstract

We pursue an international society which is politically democratized and economically developed. The most important tasks the Middle East countries face are political democratization and economic development. This study maintains that today's tides of globalization have a positive influence on worldwide democratization and economic interdependence. The associations among anti-corruption, democratization, and economic development are well verified in the groups of nations with the higher levels of GNI per capita and political democratization. It concludes that the levels of GNI per capita are related to national transparency in the Middle East. However, the three phenomena including transparency, democratization and economic development don’t go together in the Middle East countries of this research, differently from developed and advanced developing nations.
