청각장애인의 직업유지 경험에 관한 탐색적 연구 : 농문화와의 관련성을 중심으로

본 연구는 청각장애인이 인식하고 있는 농문화와 직업유지를 위한 농문화의 관련성을 파악하여 농아인을 위한 고용지원과 직업유지를 위한 기초자료로 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 질적 연구방법인 현상학적 연구방법 중 Colaizzi(1978) 연구절차를 적용하였으며, 연구대상자는 30∼40대 농아인 3명으로 선정하였는데, 30∼40대로 선정한 이유로는 경제활동 및 사회생활이 가장 왕성한 시기이며 이미 입학, 졸업, 취업, 결혼 등 생애주기 단계에 연결된 다양한 측면에서의 경험을 통해 농아인에 대한 사회적 통념의 영향을 구체적이고 사실적으로 전달해 줄 것이라는 기대감에 비롯되었다. 연구결과 연구참여자들이 기술한 자료에서 나타난 의미 있는 진술 중 의미가 중복된 진술을 제외한 70개의 구성된 의미를 21개의 주제로 유목화하고, 5개로 범주화되었다. 본 연구의 범주화는 '농문화의 심리적 기제', '농문화의 영향', '농문화의 구성요소', '직업생활', '직업유지'이며, 연구결과 농아인의 직업유지에 영향을 미치는 요소는 농아인의 가정환경, 직업정보, 교육환경, 사회환경으로 나타났다. 특히, 농문화의 부정적인 면이 농문화 전체에 퍼져 있어 농아인이 직업을 유지하는데 어려운 심리적 기제로 작용하는 바 농문화가 긍정적으로 변해갈 수 있는 대책이 필요하다.
Abstract
This study has the purpose of providing as basic material for the job maintenance of the deaf, and the employment support, the relevance deaf-culture for job maintenance that recognizes of the deaf. To achieve the purpose of this research, qualitative research method to apply phenomenological-method. This study used data from a sample group of 3 adults who were 30-40 years old. The results from study participants described the meaning of statement, except for a duplicate statement means 70 to 21 as a topic, the number of category 5. This study category are 'psychological mechanisms of the deaf-culture', 'the reason of they need to the deaf-culture', 'the deaf-culture constituent', 'vocational life', 'maintaining occupation'. As a result of the study, the occupation maintain element are the home environment, occupation information, education environment, social environment. In particular, the negative deaf-culture have spread to the whole the deaf-culture, it is difficult to maintain job. Therefor, the measures are need to the negative deaf-culture change to positive culture because the negative deaf-culture trouble to job maintenance.
