본 연구는 장애인 취업자의 취업 경로를 분석하고 특히 사회연결망을 많이 활용하는 요인이 무엇인지를 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 분석 대상은 한국장애인고용공단의 제1차 장애인 고용패널 조사 중 장애인 취업자이다. 분석 결과 장애인 취업자는 취업 경로 중에서 간접 경로인 사회연결망을 가장 많이 활용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 장애인 취업자가 연령이 높은 경우나 여성일 경우 그리고 비정규직일 경우 등 장애인 노동시장에서 불리한 위치에 있는 취업자 범주가 주로 사회연결망을 보다 더 많이 활용하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 장애인 노동시장의 양극화 우려와 더불어 그 간극 해소 방안이 마련되어야 한다는 점을 시사하고 있다.
Abstract
This study sought to analyze the employment channels of disabled employees. Specifically, it explored the factors in utilizing the social network. The analysis target was the disabled employees in the first survey of the disabled employment panel carried out by KEAD (Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled). The results revealed that disabled employees utilize most of the social networks as an indirect channel. The employee class -- which is at a disadvantage in the disabled labor market, such as the elderly, women, and temporary workers -- was also confirmed to utilize mainly the social network much more. The findings suggest the need to come up with the solution for minimizing the polarization of the disabled labor market.
