초록

본 연구의 목적은 사회연결망 분석 방법을 적용하여 장애인과 구직행동 사이의 구조적인 규칙성을 분석하여 장애인의 취업 상태를 예측하고자 하였다. 사회연결망 분석의 장점은 개별 구직행동에 초점을 맞추는 것이 아니라, 변수간의 관련성에 초점을 맞추어 상호 시너지 효과와 최적의 조합을 규명하게 해주는데 있다. 이 연구에서는 2016년 장애인고용패널조사(2차웨이브 1차조사)를 사용하여 하나 이상의 구직활동에 참여하고 있는 1,553명의 장애인을 한 엑터 세트로, 그리고 16개 구직활동으로 정의된 엑터를 다른 세트로 하는 2-모드 네트워크 자료를 구성하였다. 연구 자료는 카이검증(χ2) 기법, t-검증 방법을 사용하여 고용과 관련된 변인들에 대한 기본적인 분석을 실시하였고, 더 나아가 사회연결망 분석과 위계적 로지스틱 회귀분석 방법을 사용하여 최종 결과를 도출하였다. 연구 결과에 따른 시사점과 제언으로서는 첫째, 주변 보다는 중심 구직행동이 더 많을수록 장애인의 취업률이 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 둘째, 구직행동 각각을 장애인 고용의 독립적 예측요인으로 바라보는 것과는 달리, 장애인이 취하게 하는 구직행동의 구조적인 측면과 관계 패턴을 함께 고려하는 것이 중요한 것으로 나타났으며, 마지막으로 8가지 중심구직 행동을 각각이 아닌 하나의 패키지로서 장애인 취업을 위한 진로탐색 프로그램이나 학교교육과정에 집중적으로 활용할 필요가 있을 것으로 제시되었다.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to apply network methodology to examine structural regularities between job search behavior and people with disabilities to predict employment status. Social network analysis is a useful approach for examining job search behavior patterns associated with employment success for this population. In this study, we used the data set of 2016 Panel Survey of Employment for the disabled to construct a two mode network, with one set of actors defined as 1,553 people with disabilities and the other set of actors defined as 16 job search behaviors. The data were analyzed using the Chi(χ2) and t-test methods. Also, final results were derived using social network analysis and hierarchical logistic regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: First, the more the core job seeking behaviors are, the higher the employment rate of people with disabilities is. Second, findings from this study emphasize the importance of considering relational patterns and structure of job seeking behaviors as opposed to merely looking at each job search behavior as an independent predictor of employment outcomeFinally, it is suggested that the eight core job search behaviors need to be concentrated on career search programs or school curriculum for people with disabilities as one package rather than each one.
