그리스도와의 연합은 구원론적으로 놀라운 사건이다. 하지만, 그 연합의 성격에 대한 견해는 다양하며, 어떤 관점으로 무슨 목적을 가지느냐에 따라 결과는 확연하게 다르게 된다. 문제는 이 논의가 지속해서 이루어지며 더 복잡해져 가며 서로 간에 평행선을 달린다는 점이다. 그 이유는 무엇보다 그리스도와의 연합으로 인한 구원은 신비 중의 신비이기 때문이다. A. A. Hodge는 이 연합에 대한 신학적 용어 자체가 ‘신비적’이라고 했다. Louis Berkhof, Systematic Theology (Grand Rapids: Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Co., 1941), 379. 이에, 본고는 그리스도와의 연합이 개인적인 구원론에 그치지 말고, 공동체적 교회론으로 확장되어 증거되어야 함을 강조한다. 왜냐하면, 그리스도와의 연합을 통해 구원받은 성도라면, 마땅히 그리스도의 몸인 교회의 지체로 그리스도 안에서 통일됨은 물론 서로 간의 다양한 은사를 통해 그리스도의 신비를 증거 해야 하기 때문이다. 게다가, 신학의 사변화로 인해 점차 교회는 그 역동성을 잃어버리고 있는 점을 주목할 때, 그리스도의 한 몸 된 교회 통일성은 반드시 경험되어야 하고, 이 논의의 주된 방향성이 될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The union with Christ is a remarkable event. However, the nature of the union varies, and the results vary depending on the perspective as well as the purpose of the union. The problem is that these on-going debate run parallel to each other as they become increasing complicated. The reason being that the union with Christ is an insoluble mystery. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to emphasize and demonstrate the union with Christ through the ecclesiology of community, it is because the union with Christ does not end with personal salvation. Namely, if we are saved through union with Christ, we must of in turn bear witness to the mystery of Christ through the various gifts that we have. In addition, when we focus on the fact that the church is gradually losing its dynamics due to philosophized debate, it is important to experience the unity of the church as one body of Christ and should be the main direction of this discussion.
