로마 가톨릭 앞에서 종교개혁을 정당화하기 위해서 종교개혁의두 번째 세대로서 칼뱅은 두 개의 근본적 원칙을 설립해야 했다. 구원의 확실성과 구원의 도덕성이다. 달리 말하면 칭의와 성화이다. 이를위해서 칼뱅은 그리스도와의 연합 혹은 교제의 개념을 그의 중심 사상으로 취한다. 그렇다면 칼뱅 신학 안에서 그리스도와의 연합의 본질이무엇인가? 논문은 이 연합의 본질이 기독론적인 특징을 가진 것임을 주장한다. 우리는 ‘그리스도의 두 본성의 연합’과 ‘신자와 그리스도의연합’ 사이에 하나의 유비를 발견한다. 우리는 두 가지 개념 ‘속성의 교류’와 ‘엑스트라 칼비니스티쿰’을 그리스도와 신자 사이의 연합에 적용한다. 한편, 속성의 교류는 우리의 관점에서 그리스도와 신자 사이의 연속성을 설립하며 그들 사이의 인격의 교환의 가능성을 열어주며 구원의 확실성을 보증한다. 다른 한편 엑스트라 칼비니스티쿰은 그리스도와 신자와의 연합 안에서 신적 초월성의 자리를 남겨 둔다. 끈으로서 성령에 의해 그리스도와 신자는 함께 결합하지만 이 연합은 신적 초월성과 관계된다. 이 점에서 신비적 연합은 과정과 진보로서의 연합이며 종말론적 성취를 기다린다.
Abstract
To justify the Reformation against Catholicism, Calvin as a reformer of the second generation, had to establish two basic principles: the ‘certainty of salvation’ and ‘morality of salvation’ in other words, justification and sanctification. To do this, Calvin took the notion of union or of communion with Christ as the central idea. What is the nature of union with Christ in Calvin’s theology ? The nature of this union is christological. So we can find an analogy between the ‘union of two natures in Christ’ and the ‘union of Christ and a believer’. We applied the two concepts,‘communicatio idiomatum’ and ‘extra calvinisticum’ to the notion of the union between Christ and a believer. The ‘communicatioidiomatum’ makes it possible to unite Christ with the believer andopens the possibility of exchange of the person between them, and ensures the certainty of salvation. The ‘extra calvinisticum’ claimsthat there is still the divine transcendence in the union between Christ and a believer. By the Holy Spirit, they are united, but thisunion is linked to the divine transcendence. The perfect union is eschatological.
