강도관 유도 ｢잇츠츠노카타(五の形)｣와 천신진양류 유술 ｢고쿠이쿠덴(極意口傳)｣의 음양 대칭 분석

본 연구는 동양체육관의 확립을 위해 대칭적, 순환적 관점의 음양론과 강유론을 운동이론으로 활용하여 강도관 유도 잇츠츠노카타와 천신진양류 유술 고쿠이쿠덴의 다섯 가지 기술 형태 분석과 원리 규명, 음양 짝 개념을 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법으로는 수집된 문헌 및 영상 등의 학술자료에 대한 고찰과 내용 분석을 실시하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 잇츠츠노카타와 고쿠이쿠덴에는 각각 ‘지장보살 원리’, ‘파도 원리’, ‘바다 소용돌이 원리’, ‘썰물 원리’, 그리고 ‘파도 맞섬 원리’로 총 5개 원리가 존재했다. 둘째, 잇츠츠노카타와 고쿠이쿠덴이 지닌 음양 대칭의 특성으로 자신은 항상 음세에 놓이며, 강유론의 관점에서 부드러움에 해당한다. 셋째, 잇츠츠노카타와 고쿠이쿠덴의 가장 다수 적용된 음양 대칭 개념 짝은 공간 위치에서 ‘內-外’와 ‘下-上’가 각 2개, 공간 움직임에서 ‘起-落’과 ‘退-進’이 각 3개, 신체 움직임에서 ‘蓄- 發’과 ‘化-打’이 각 4개, 움직임 속성에서 ‘沉-浮’이 4개로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study aims to establish an eastern martial arts framework by employing the Yin-Yang and Hard-Soft theories from a symmetrical and cyclical perspective as movement theories. Specifically, it analyzes the five technical forms of Itsutsu-no-Kata from Kodokan Judo and Gokuikuden from Tenjinshinyo-ryu Jujutsu, elucidating their principles and presenting the concept of Yin-Yang pairings. The research methodology involves a literature review and content analysis of collected academic sources. The conclusions are as follows. First, Itsutsu-no-Kata and Gokuikuden each embody five fundamental principles: the Kṣitigarbha principle, the wave principle, the whirlpool principle, the ebb tide principle, and the wave confrontation principle. Second, due to the symmetrical characteristics of Yin-Yang, the practitioner is always positioned in a Yin and Soft position. Third, the most frequently applied Yin-Yang symmetrical pairings identified are as follows: in spatial positioning, ‘內-外’ and ‘下-上’ (each 2 times); in spatial movement, ‘起-落’ and ‘退-進’ (each 3 times); in body movement, ‘蓄-發’ and ‘化-打’ (each 4 times); and in movement properties, ‘沉-浮’ (4 times).
