태권도 엘리트 선수 출신 대학교수의 태권도 교육적 가치관 확립을 위한 생애사 연구

본 연구에서는 태권도 엘리트 선수 출신 대학교수의 태권도 교육적 가치관 확립을 위해 생애사 연구를 통해 태권도 선수, 지도자 등에게 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 태권도 겨루기, 품새, 시범등 국가대표급 선수 및 지도자 경험이 있는 Y대학교 태권도학과 K교수를 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육 가치관이 생기기 전에는 스포츠 선수로서의 꿈을 좇아가는 것을 볼 수있었다. 둘째, 교육적 가치관이 생기는 과정으로 교수가 되기 전부터 교수가 된 후까지 지속적으로 다양한 경험 및 경력을 쌓고 있었다. 셋째, 교육적 가치관 확립은 태권도의 비전으로 생활체육과 엘리트 체육으로 나누어져 볼 수 있었다. 종합적으로 K교수는 교육적 가치관 확립을 위해 과거의 초심의 마음과 미래지향적으로 학생을 위한 교수의 노력이 필요하다고 생각하고 있었다.
Abstract
This study aims to provide basic data to Taekwondo players and instructors through a life history study to establish Taekwondo educational values of university professors who were former Taekwondo elite players. To this end, Professor K of the Taekwondo Department at Y University, who has experience as a national-level player and instructor in Taekwondo sparring, poomsae, and demonstration, was selected as the research subject. The results of the study are as follows. First, before developing educational values, he was seen pursuing his dream as a sports player. Second, as a process of developing educational values, he continuously accumulated various experiences and careers from before becoming a professor to after becoming a professor. Third, the establishment of educational values can be divided into lifestyle sports and elite sports as a vision of Taekwondo. In general, Professor K thought that establishing educational values requires a past beginner's mind and future-oriented efforts of a professor for students.
