In this paper, the effect of the addition function appearing in the inversed construction of conversations was studied. First, the types of meaning of inversed constructions were divided into general word inversions, substitute inversions and native word inversions. And the inversed constructions divided the same word and the synonym. The types of addition of inversed constructions were divided into the addition function to provide information, the addition function to change the topic and the addition function to mitigate conflicts. During conversations, information that could not be delivered within the order of the person’s speech may occur and that may lead to misunderstanding between participants in the conversation. Sometimes, topics are naturally switched to new topics. The addition function to provide information was divided into making the meaning more detailed and adding new information for review. And the addition function to change topics was divided into forward connections and reversed connections. The addition function to mitigate conflicts was reviewed in terms of repetition and synonym inversions.
