국내 주요 물류기업의 효율성과 효율성에 미치는 영향요인 분석

본 연구는 국내 주요 물류기업들을 분석하여 국내물류기업의 발전방향을 제시하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 DEA-SBM을 활용하여 매출액 상위 20위권 물류기업들의 효율성을 분석하였다. 그리고 토빗(Tobit) 분석을 활용하여 연구대상 기업들의 효율성 영향요인 분석을 실시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 국내 주요 물류기업들의 효율성 향상을 위한 방향성을 제시하였다. 연구결과, 국내 주요 물류기업들의 효율성은 높지 않은 수준이었다. 그리고 영향요인 분석결과, 영업이익은 효율성에 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 유형자산, 매출원가, 판매관리비는 음(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상에서 도출된 분석결과들에 따르면 국내 주요 물류기업들의 효율성 향상을 위해서는 유형자산의 선별적 관리와 원가관리가 필요한 것으로 요약이 되는 바, 이는 향후 국내 주요 물류기업들의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 유의미한 시사점을 제공해 줄 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study is to analyze Korea’s primary logistics companies, which are listed as top 20 on sales, in order to draw up their improvement direction. A comparative analysis of efficiency on the companies is conducted with DEA-SBM. The level of efficiency is on low level. Determinants of efficiency from tobit regression analysis show operating income has positive effect while tangible assets, sales costs, and administrative costs negative. Selective management of tangible assets and curtailment of sales and administrative costs are considered to be needed to improve efficiency level of Korea’s logistics companies.
