종합물류기업인증제도는 기능별 물류위주의 국내물류기업 구조를 종합적 서비스를 제공하는 종합물류기업 구조로 발전시키기 위해 마련되었다. 본 연구는 국내 종합물류인증기업의 효율성과 생산성을 DEA 기법과 Malmquist 생산성지수를 이용하여 분석한다. 또한 DEA 모델의 한계를 극복하기 위한 초효율성 모델을 이용하여 물류기업을 효율성에 따라 순위를 산정하고, 영업이익이 효율성에 미치는 영향을 측정하는 방법을 제시하며, Malmquist 생산성 지수를 이용하여 물류기업의 생산성 변화 추이를 분석한다. 한편 인증 여부와 모기업 유무가 특수한 경우를 제외하고 효율성과 생산성에 영향을 미치지 못한다는 것을 보여준다.
Abstract
Certification System of Total Logistics Provider, one of governmental fostering policies for Korean logistics providers, was established to develop the structure of the logistics industry from functionally focused logistics to total service logistics. This study analyzes the efficiency of Certified Integrated Logistics Companies in Korea, using DEA models and Malmquist Productivity Index, shows efficient companies and inefficient ones, and provides reference sets to be benchmarked. In addition, this paper ranks logistics companies based on Super efficiency DEA model that was developed to overcome the limit of DEA models, suggests the method to evaluate how operating profit affects business efficiency, and uses Malmquist Productivity Index to analyzes productivity changes of logistics companies. This paper also shows that having mother companies or acquiring the certification does not make an critical role in improving efficiency or productivity of certified integrated logistics companies.
