시외버스 노선의 공급수준 산정 방법론에 관한 연구

시외버스 노선을 관리하고 노선의 신설‧조정 등을 검토하기 위해서는 현 수준의 적정 공급수준의 평가가 선행되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 전산화된 시외버스 노선의 운행계통정보를 활용하여 지역간 시외버스의 공급수준을 산출하기 위한 방법론을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 KTDB의 지역 간 여객 버스수요와 노선운행정보를 활용한 기종점 터미널 간 시외버스 수요 및 공급 산정 방법론을 검토하였다. 하지만 기종점 쌍 간 시외버스의 공급수준과 수요수준만으로 기종점 쌍의 공급수준을 평가할 경우 해당 기종점 쌍의 경로를 지나는 타 기종점 쌍 간 수요를 고려하지 못해 실제 노선의 운영수준을 제대로 평가할 수 없는 문제가 발생한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 기종점 쌍 간 수요공급비 이외에 추가로 링크단위의 수요공급비를 검토하는 방안을 제시하였다. 기종점 쌍의 수요공급비와 기종점 쌍의 대안 경로에 해당하는 링크 간 수요공급비를 동시에 검토함으로써 기종점 간 공급수준을 제대로 평가할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
Abstract
In order to manage intercity bus routes and to examine new routes, evaluation of supply level between departure and arrival terminal should be preceded. In this study, we developed a methodology to calculate the supply level between terminals using computerized route information of intercity bus. For this purpose, we examined a method to estimate the supply level between departure and arrival terminal. And in order to overcome the difficulty in obtaining real demand, we examined a method of estimating the demand level between terminals using KTDB's inter-regional bus demand and route information of intercity bus. We also proposed a method to examine the link based supply-demand ratio in addition to the supply-demand ratio between departure and arrival terminal in order to address a problem that level of service for the actual operation can not be properly evaluated when evaluating the supply level based on only supply and demand levels between departure and arrival terminal. We can evaluate the supply level by examining the supply-demand ratio between two terminals and supply-demand ratios of the links corresponding to alternative routes at the same time.
