江戸噺本の烏滸の笑い -笑いの方法および質の変化をめぐって-

본 논문에서는 바보(烏滸)의 「화내는」 인물감정을 이용한 웃음의 방법의 한중일 비교를 통해 본 에도 하나시본(江戸噺本)의 특징 및 웃음의 질적 변화에 대하여 고찰해 보았다. 그 결과, 중국과 조선소화 및 근세이전의 일본의 설화 등에서 지금까지 보아온 종래의 화내는 바보(烏滸)이야기의 웃음과는 방법 및 질에 있어서 구별되는 새로운 웃음이 에도 하나시본에 나타나게 되었다는 사실을 알게 되었다. 그리고 이 새로운 방법(「화내게 만드는」 바보의 인물감정을 이용)의 증가와 더불어, 종래의 「화내는」 바보이야기의 감소에 수반한 「재치담화(頓知譚化)」 및 「감탄하는」「기뻐하는」 바보이야기의 증가가, 결국은 에도 하나시본에 있어서의 웃음의 질적 변화를 유발하였다고 여겨진다. 이러한 인물감정을 이용한 바보이야기의 웃음의 방법 및 질의 변화들을 통해, 우리는 일본인의 웃음의 시대적 변천양상 및 그 특징을 확인할 수 있는데, 에도 하나시본에 새로 나타난 이러한 웃음은, 오늘날 일본의 만자이(漫才)에서 흔히 볼 수 있는, 화내는 정상적인 인물과 화내게 만드는 바보라는 전형적인 인물구조에도 그대로 투영되어 나타난다고 할 수 있겠다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to know the method of Edo-hanashibon's that make use of a fool's human emotions, for example, 'become angry'. And this research's result show us the characteristic of method and offensive laughter of Edo-hanashibon. Firstly, we can notice that the changing of the method that make new laughter in Edo-hanashibon. In comparison to Chinese and Korean comedic stories, we can say that this method is very polished style. And we can discover the same laughter from Manzai that is Japanese comedic chat. Secondly, it seems that this new styled method have made some change on the offensive in laughter of Japanese comedic stories. It's degree of offensive is to be weak than before the changing. It considered that there are two reasons. the first reason is decreasing of old method and increasing of new method. A fool who become angry type is the former, a fool make someone to be angry type is the latter. the second reason is development of new method that a fool who is to be wonder or glad. And the new laughter from this new method has not so strong offensive than the laughter from old method.
