中国における日本古典文学の翻訳と研究 -『今昔物語集』を中心に-

中国における日本古典文学の翻訳は20世紀60年代に企画されていたが、まもなく文化大革命が発生したため、80年代の初めにようやく出版されるようになった。『今昔』も同じ頃に翻訳されていたものの、21世紀に入ってからようやく出版さた。ほかの日本古典も殆ど対外開放政策が実施される80年代以降に翻訳されたものである。発表においてまずこのような翻訳事情を概観する。それから、『今昔物語集』本朝部の翻訳からみた中日の文化的相違を指摘する。最後に、中国語訳『源氏物語』による中国の源氏研究を反面教師に、翻訳による古典研究の可能性について考えてみる。
Abstract
The translation of Japanese classical literature in China had been planned in the 1960s.Because of the Great Culture Revolution(1966-76),they were published in the early 80s finally. Although Konjaku monogatarishu was also translated in60s, It was published in the 21stcenturyatlast. The other classics were translated after the China’s Open Policy which was enforced in 80s.This paper will survey the translation situation first at the symposium. Then it will point out the cultural difference between China and Japan through the translation of Honchobu of Konzyaku monogatarishu. Finally , taking the Chinese translation of the Tale of the Genji as example, consider the possibility of classics study in translation.
