本稿は若き日の内村鑑三の国家観がどのように形成されたかを考察したも のである。ここでは、憧れの対象であったアメリカに対する全人格的な体験 を通じ、祖国日本を再発見し、これを宗教的な意味にまで昇華させた内村鑑 三の思想の原型を考察した。アメリカとの接触を通して、内村の日本への信 頼が揺らぐように見えたが、むしろ若い思想家の内面ではもっと固いものと して形作られる過程を見た。祖国日本と世界、人類のために尽したいという 信念の形成は、外的には何も得ていないように思われるアメリカ留学が齎した最高のプレゼントであった。祖国に対する熱情と信仰に対する真摯さ、あ るいはキリストと日本、この二つの中で、どちらも失われることを願わな かった内村の生涯の人生の原型が、若き日の彼の残した文章を通して確認で きたと思う。
Abstract
The Paper which considered how view about a country of young Uchimura Kanzo on a day was formed. To the through an experience of. Through contact with the United States, Trust to Japan in Uchimura seemed shaken, but The process formed as something stronger was seen inside the young thinker. Motherland Japan and the world, Formation of the faith would to do for human purpose, is best present. which was was trought from AMERIKA studying abroad. Christ, Japan in these two. A prototype in a life of a life of Uchimura who didn't wish that both are lost. I think it could be checked through the sentences for which young he on a day left it.
