日本就職を視野に入れたオンライン日本語キャンプの可能性

Abstract

As a result, we obtained positive opinions regarding the team collaboration ability from most of the trainees, and we confirmed the effect of the camp in improving their motivation. In addition, we confirmed that the camp helped the trainees to realize the importance of using the Japanese language, and that they gained experiences and lessons that can be utilized in society. In the management of the camp, we built a foundation for the camp management by identifying good points and improvements. From these results, we concluded that this camp is effective for students who aim to find employment in Japan and can also help them interact in society in the future. We also concluded that the online team collaborative learning has expanded its versatility and the possibility of its realization in various fields. In this study, based on the case study of the online Japanese language camp conducted in the state-supported program "Cheonghaejin (Youth Overseas Expansion) University project - Japan IT Course" of Busan University of Foreign Studies during the COVID-19 pandemic. We discussed the effects and issues, and explored future possibilities. The purpose of this Japanese language camp was to "cultivate advanced Japanese language skills and team collaboration skills" and "reconfirm oneself by interacting with others," which are required in Japanese IT companies. It was also expected to improve the problem of alienation and lack of motivation among students during the COVID-19 pandemic. We analyzed the achievement of the objectives and other effects of the two-day project-based team activities based on the trainees' reflection sheets. In addition, we interviewed the camp administrators after the camp and examined the camp implementation methods from the perspective of the administrators.
