냉전하 오키나와의 식민지경험의 재구성 -오시로 다쓰히로의「칵테일파티」론-

Abstract

I analyzed Cocktail Party of Tatsuhiro Oshiro(1967) in this report and considered the issue of reconstruction of the colonial experience in Okinawa during the Cold War. At first, I considered the self-image of Okinawa's people by representation called ‘maid’. Ambiguity of identity of Okinawa's people expressed in representation called ‘maid’. At second, I considered a problem of the complicated colonial experience and violence of this text. I analyzed it how a problem of ‘violence’ was expressed in Okinawa. By a reconfiguration of the war memory, and the complicated relations as an assailant and the victim come to appear of the Okinawa’s people. The stance that each character show over the issue of rape of the daughter of the chief character lets the difference that memory of the war of East Asia intersecting by Okinawa's people and the reconfiguration have make distance. I analyzed a representation of the Cold War by a problem called ‘Chinese’. Characters had fluent command of the dual language or multi-language. Difficulty of sorting and conflict by nation, ethnic, race has been discussed and how the composition of East Asia after World War II or the Cold War are tied. In conclusion, through the reorganization of the colonial experience, This text expressed the problems of the current history of Okinawa during the Cold War.
