待遇表現としての授受表現に関する日韓対照研究 -テ形に接続する「〜てもらう」文を中心に-

本研究では、ショップチャンネルを調査対象とし、日本語の文中に現れる「〜てもらう」文を中心に韓国語と比較分析を行った。その結果、日韓両言語共に、客に対して最もふさわしい待遇表現を多用していることは同じであるが、日本語では「〜てもらう」の謙譲語である「〜ていただいて」を多用している。一方、韓国語では「아/어 주시고(a/eo jusigo)」や「動詞+시고(sigo)」のように、主体を高める尊敬語を使っている点が異なっていた。また、両言語共に、「〜てもらう」や「아/어주다(a/eo juda)」を省略しても文の意味は通じるのにも関わらず、わざわざこれらを使っていることから、「〜てもらう」文には単なる授受表現としての機能だけではなく、聞き手に対する待遇表現としての機能の存在が認められるものと考えられる。
Abstract
This study is a comparative analysis between Korean and Japanese expressionsparticularly with regard to the Japanese expression 「-te morau」(inward give- "dosomething for me") from data surveyed from Shop Channel. The results of this survey demonstrate that although honorific expressions which areconsidered most appropriate for use towards customers are used extensively in bothJapanese and Korean, that in Japanese > expressions humbling the speaker withregard to the addressee represented by < the use of 「- te itadaku)」the humbleform of the 「-te morau)」expression predominate where by contrast, in Korean,the expressions 「a/eo jusigo)」and the (verb plus sigo) which heighten the statusof the addressee with regard to the speaker are used. Furthermore as both the 「-te morau)」or the 「a/eo juda」 forms are useddeliberately even though there is no change meaning in either language if those formsare omitted, it is possible to consider the 「-te morau」 form as not merely andexchange expression but as an expression that functions as a respectful attitudinalexpression towards the listener.
