이자나기노미코토와 이자나미노미코토의 해신(海神)적 성격 고찰 -『고사기』 및 『일본서기』를 중심으로-

『古事記』と『日本書紀』の神話には天神観がよく現れている。伊邪那岐 命と伊邪那美命についても天浮橋から淤能碁呂嶋に移動する過程を＇降＇と 表現するなど、この二神に天神的イメージを与えていることがわかる。しか し、伊邪那岐命と伊邪那美命の伝承を調べてみると、海と関係のある伝承も しばしば登場する。淤能碁呂嶋、国生み、神生み、禊など、多様な場面で海 が登場するのを確認できる。伊邪那岐命と伊邪那美命の神名についても、類 似したパタンを持つ沫那藝神·沫那美神、頰那藝神·頰那美神の伝承を確認することで、海との繋がりを確認することができる。このように多様な伝承を確 認することで、『古事記』と『日本書紀』では、伊邪那岐命と伊邪那美命に 天神的イメージを与えていながらも、海神的なイメージも同時に持っている と考えることができる。
Abstract
"Kojiki" and "Nihonsyoki" incloud the Concept of heaven gods. The process of movement by Izanaki and Izanami from Amenoukihashi to Onogoroshima called as “Down (降)” could be seen in the "Kojiki" and "Nihonsyoki". And that is why it could be understand as heaven image of these two gods. However, by close study of legends related to Izanagi and Izanami the legends about sea connection of the gods appear often. In episode about Onogoroshima, Kuniumi, Kamiumi, Misogi and others, the image of Sea shows in different ways. Also, by study of Izanagi and Izanami’s names and the names of Awanaginokanmi, Awanaminokami and Tsutanaki, Tsuranami and their similar points, the relationship with Sea could be mentioned. In this way not only the image of Izanagi and Izanami as heaven gods but also, in the same time, their image of Sea gods could be mentioned.
