今までオノマトペについて幅広く研究されているが『かたこと』・『雅語音声考』・『日葡辞書』という三つの著書について一つに結んでいっしょに考察してきた研究はあまり見当たらない。本考察では、室町時代から江戸時代に至るまでオノマトペを記錄した『かたこと(片言)』・『雅語音声考』・『日葡辞書』などの貴重な三つの資料を比較・考察することにする。『かたこと』に表われている多様な語彙は、中世末から近世初にかけて言語変化が起こり始めたという日本語史上において客観的な事実を物語っている点で貴重な資料であると言えよう。また、『雅語音声考』において言語と音声との関係に関する鈴木朗の立論と擬音語・擬態語の語彙を幅広く見つめて明確な口語の実例を裏付けていること、さらに「オノマトペ語基+接尾語」という語構成や派生語などを記述していることなどは、言語に関する鈴木朗の鋭い洞察力と感覚を見せていると言える。『日葡辞書』に現われている「ぱらつく」「ぱりぱり」などの「パ行子音」の語は見出し語には見られないが、語彙の説明の中で探し出した貴重なオノマトペの語例である。このように三つの資料は、約200年の間、一般庶民たちが生活の中で愛用し、生き動いている語彙群であるオノマトペの生成と消滅、語音結合及び語源などについて言語運用の實態を把握し、全體的な語彙體系を構築するのに有益な情報を提供している。さらにこの三つの資料はオノマトペから由来したと考えられる語源と語彙、共通的に現われている音と意味との由縁性について考察してみる機会を与えていると言えよう。
Abstract
For more than 200 years, Yasuhara(安原貞室) and Suzuki(鈴木朗) have written books of high historical value, and as it is noted, Onomatopia is used in everyday life in a variety of ways, and is rarely recorded except for old stories. It is fortunate that these vocabulary groups can compare and reflect on the onomatopia's vocabulary used by ordinary people at the time of each era through 『Katakoto(片言)』 and 『Gagoonzyouko-(雅語音声考)』 and the study of both data also provides very useful information in terms of building a new onomatopia vocabulary. It is also intended to compare the Muromatimakki(室町末期) to the Edosyoki(江戸初期) in 『Nippojisyo(日葡辞書)』(1603)writtenoverKatakoto(片言)』and 『Gagoonzyouko-(雅語音声考)』, and to use fi at that time.?. Accordingly, This study, which is never neglected in making 『Katakoto(片言)』 and 『Gagoonzyouko-(雅語音声考)』 and 『Nippojisyo(日葡辞書)』, which are written by foreign missionaries in a normative manner, is intended to compare and examine the creation, extinction, bond, and etymology of Onomatopia. In addition, we will be able to understand the current state of language management for the generation and extinction of Onomatopia, the combination of notes, and etymology, as well as establishing an overall vocabulary system and laying the foundation for providing good information to the educational field.
