다자이 오사무(太宰治)문예 고찰 -기독교 양심을 외친 작품을 중심으로-

本稿は明治以後の日本の基督敎とその影響の下での基督敎文芸を硏究した論文として、特に太宰治と聖書の關係を良心という概念から作品を分析をした論文である。太宰治は洗礼も受洗もしていなかったし、教会も通っていなかった作家である。にもかかわらず、内村鑑三の聖書硏究の書籍を読み更け、聖書をじっくりと読み通して自分なりに、キリスト主義の精神の本質に深い興味を持つようになったと思うのである。太宰は聖書のなかで描かれている人間の肖像というものに気づきはじめ、人間の良心に芽生えてきて、嘘のないまっ更な心で生きる人間の生きざまを追求し、読者にアピールした。太宰は「人間は如何に生くべきか」についての答えを得るために苛まれた哀しくも痛ましくも短い生涯を送った作家である。太宰は真剣に自分の身を苛みつつ聖書を読み、主に新約聖書を読みながら、偽善とエゴイズムにまみれた人間の醜さを告発し、聖書に書かれている人間の良心に基づいて生くべきで、その良心は嘘のない正直な心持ちで生くために必要だと訴えている。真の疎通とは嘘のない、欲のない心で交わしていることで、それがキリスト教の聖書に基づいた良心のことである。良心をアピールした作品を選んで、分析したこの論文は人間の本来の姿を追求する文芸考察に役に立ちたい次第である。
Abstract
This study aims to research Christian literature under the influence of Christianity since the Meiji era, and to research the Bible and Dazai’s works appealed to human conscience and frankness. However Osamu Dazai was a writer who was not baptized and not a church member, but he was interested in reading the Bible annotation written by Kanzo Utimura and he studied the Bible. Resulting from that, he indulged in Christianity as an outsider. He pursued human nature and human portrait without lying starting from the action of sprouting on human conscience as human nature. He appealed to the conscience with the question of how to live without lies. Being tormented by his own conscience, he accused humans of hypocrisy and egoism. This article aims to pursue the portrait of human beings from God’s creature, and research Dazai’s works which appealed to the human conscience.
