까비르 비쟈크에 나타난 언어관 연구: 「쬬라 마트(사키)」본을 중심으로

Abstract

Kabir who once lived in India in 15th century was one of the greatest social reformers and religious men of thoughts. His world and history of literature literally open the new chapter of literature of Bakthi. Throughout his whole life he made great efforts to combine Islamic monotheistic religion with traditional Hindu one. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate his introduction of language manifested in Bijak. Especially it is said that Kabir's Bijak comes to the original archetype of a linguistic introduction. Kabir's introduction of language is not only clear but also full of humanity and the love. Thus it is often said that his introduction of language is melted into the life spirit itself and his faith toward human beings. In this paper, by analyzing Kabir's linguistic introduction I will clearly examine it on top of that this study will demonstrate how he advised his people as follows. First, I will examine how to speak correctly based on his instruction through its authenticity. Second, this study shows succinctly how listeners would be by telling Kabir's locutions according to him listeners have to always pay attention to speakers with open heart and mind. To do this, listeners have to train themselves ceaselessly. This study shows to human beings how words are influential to us and how they affect our real life and reality. Kabir's view of linguistic locution can be summarized into linguistic spirits Kabir always tells listeners that they have to accept their counterpart's mind. Kabir's view point of his languages is significant to all of us even living in the 21st century.
